28 of 33 sites with positive prior year sales.Commercial measurement / 2026 programme
I brought event planning, customer follow-up and reporting together to understand how the programme connected with the business.
Across 35 identifiable sites linked to 2026 events, aggregate sales increased by 29.3% compared with the same seven months of 2025. Growth was spread across the group: 28 of the 33 sites with positive prior year sales increased their purchases by value.
These are results across the wider event programme. They include sales before some events and do not measure event attributable ROI.
Budget responsibility. R3.1 million is rounded from R3,089,000 in reported event expenditure through September 2026, corrected on 12 October. The 2025 total was R620,000. My responsibilities covered strategy and budgets, suppliers, brand and collateral, invitations, customer follow-up and reporting.
Programme scope. The 80+ headline refers to 82 main calendar entries from 2023 to 2026. The register snapshot at 9 October 2026 includes planned and internal activities, with two October events still upcoming at that date. Individual roadshow stops are not added again to the main calendar count.
Customer results. Sales reports for FY2026 and FY2027 were compared for March to September in each year, net of credit notes. The 29% headline rounds aggregate growth of 29.3% across 35 identifiable customer sites linked to 2026 events. The 85% figure rounds 28 out of 33 sites with positive prior year sales; two sites without a positive baseline are excluded from that percentage.
Interpretation. Event records and signed registers were matched to customer accounts. Other sales activity, pre-existing customer growth and purchasing cycles were not isolated. Melomed end customer sales are not yet separately mapped. These figures describe an association and are not a measured event ROI.

2023 / Annual programme
The register brings together the Melomed open days, hospital engagement, sponsorship and two blood drives. The Melomed programme spans 5 to 13 May; October contains three separate activities.
Materials and team availability for the longer roadshow window, followed by supplier and delivery capacity for the cluster of October dates.

7 dated entries · 1 undated entry included in the annual total
Hospital open days and community activity sit in the same annual calendar. Each needs an appropriate brief, materials and team handover.
2024 / Annual programme
August and September account for 11 activities, alongside preparation for Africa Health in October. Two separate entries share 28 September, making coordinated team delivery especially important.
Artwork, product samples and supplier requirements ahead of clustered dates, with catering estimates updated as the expected group changes.

Cormed planning notes move from an estimate of 40 hospital staff to catering for 50 people once the Jehu team is included. Revised quotes and alternative catering options follow. These are planning quantities.
2025 / Annual programme
The Busamed and Melomed roadshows sit within a wider programme of hospital visits, sponsorships, training and an exhibition. Their component dates make the coordination behind each calendar entry visible.
Travel, collateral, samples and catering by site, with each local requirement connected to the overall roadshow schedule.

Busamed records four hospital stops. Melomed records five hospital visits, an IPC conference and a gala evening. These eleven components sit within two main entries and are not added again to the annual count.
2026 / Annual programme
UNITE sits alongside training, sponsorships, customer events and an exhibition. September has 11 activities, including three entries on 16 September. The register also schedules two October open days after the review date.

23 entries dated by 9 October · 2 upcoming in October
An undated UNITE 2027 item is already on the register. It remains a forward planning entry and is excluded from this report’s totals.
Based on the Jehu events register supplied in October 2026, reviewed as at 9 October 2026. Each main calendar entry counts once. Roadshow stops, sessions and photo groups are not counted again.
The 82 entries cover open days, sponsorships, training, internal activities, conferences, exhibitions and other events. Two entries have no date and are included only in their year totals. Monthly bars use the start date, so an event spanning two months appears in its starting month.
The 2026 total includes two upcoming October open days. Earlier dates describe the calendar record; the export has no completion status field. The undated 2027 planning item is outside this report. Totals describe the scope of the recorded programme, rather than attendance, revenue or growth in activity.
Format labels group the register’s open day variants, training with internal activity, and conferences with exhibitions. Forecasting priorities are a retrospective reading of the annual schedule and planning notes. They describe resource planning, without claiming forecast accuracy.
