Bring the programme to the hospital.

I planned, prepared and delivered the Melomed Open Days programme, connecting five hospital visits with a closing infection prevention conference and gala.

The aim was to bring product education and engagement into the hospital setting. A consistent campaign gave the series a shared identity, while each location needed its own practical preparation.

One campaign, five different settings.

The invitation brought the hospital dates together in one communication. Behind it, the preparation covered venue requirements, display equipment, travel, registration, marketing materials and the people responsible at each stop.

The Cape Town setup plans adapted the same display system to four different rooms. Tables, screens, banners, catering and existing room features all affected how the programme would work on site.

The layouts make the operational decisions visible: where a screen can be seen, how banners frame the room, and how tables fit around the venue. These are preparation drawings, rather than a record of the final installation.

Prepare once. Adapt at every stop.

I coordinated venue and supplier estimates alongside the roadshow plan, bringing accommodation, catering, production and the closing gala into one preparation process.

The scope included setup and breakdown as well as the guest facing programme. Cost planning connected the hospital visits with the practical requirements of the closing event.

  1. Before the roadshow

    Shape the campaign and schedule

Connected the hospital programme, invitations, product displays and closing conference. Venue and programme revisions informed what the team needed to prepare.

  2. Production preparation

    Plan around each location

Coordinated marketing materials, banners, equipment and team responsibilities. Site specific layouts adapted the shared campaign to Tokai, Gatesville, Mitchells Plain and Bellville.

  3. 21 to 22 August 2025

Set up for the first open day

The Richards Bay plan brought setup forward to the previous evening and allowed early engagement around hospital shift change. Alongside leading the programme, I handled banner preparation and marketing material checks.

  4. 25 to 28 August 2025

    Deliver the Cape Town roadshow

Carried the programme through Mitchells Plain, Bellville, Gatesville and Tokai, connecting the campaign presentation with the team handling registration, equipment, sales, media and setup.

  5. 30 August 2025

    Bring the programme together

Delivered the closing infection prevention conference and gala, connecting the hospital activity with a shared learning and relationship building event.

Keep the message consistent across the journey.

The campaign extended from the initial invitation to product displays, conference communication and the closing programme. Each piece served a different moment while keeping the event presentation connected.

The event was a team delivery. The coordination agenda assigns photography and videography to Shenaya; my documented preparation included banners and marketing material checks alongside programme leadership.

The planning, on location.

Hospital displays, demonstrations and the closing conference show the programme moving from preparation into delivery.

Visual overview of the film

The opening follows product displays and conversations across the hospital visits. Around 1:10, the film moves into the conference room, showing presentations, delegates and the branded stage, before closing with the evening programme. Music accompanies the montage.

The two hospital stills come from the 2025 Open Days overview film. Photography and videography were assigned to Shenaya in the coordination agenda; these are records of team delivery.

A programme carried through to completion.

Five hospital open days and a closing conference and gala formed one delivered programme.

The closing conference brought the campaign into one room, with the same visual identity carried across the stage and supporting screens.

The roadshow was followed by increased sales, a qualitative outcome reported for the programme. Event specific figures remain unverified.

This archive film records the 2023 Infection Prevention Open Days. It adds context to the recurring hospital programme: product information, practical demonstrations and conversations with staff in their own setting.

The film opens with a 2023 title and identifies its final stop as “Day 6 · Iszipharm · 12 May 2023”. It is shown separately from the August 2025 delivery above.

About this film

The film follows product displays, practical demonstrations and conversations across a series of locations, using chapter cards between visits. A 2023 opening title and the final dated Iszipharm card establish the earlier programme. It provides context for the recurring programme and its educational format.
