Create a reason to come together.

I planned and delivered Kick for a Kid as a customer experience that extended beyond everyday business conversations. The event brought hospital teams into an inter hospital soccer tournament, with a wider programme for colleagues and families and a charitable purpose in support of CHOC.

The focus was participation and engagement: giving customers something to be part of, with a clear identity and a considered experience before, during and after the matches.

Make participation clear.

The hospital invitation brought the event's purpose, date, venue and programme together in one campaign. The supporting information explained how teams could enter, who could participate, the tournament format and what players needed to prepare.

Customer team confirmations were tracked separately from the campaign material. This connected the invitation to the practical work of preparing a tournament, rather than treating the promotion as the end of the project.

The five page hospital brochure connects the campaign with tournament rules and information about CHOC. Advertised prize and donation amounts describe the proposed event offering, not verified fundraising results. CHOC statistics and budget information on the final page are historical charity information supplied within the brochure, not outcomes of this event.

Design the touchpoints around the day.

The event identity carried through the campaign, participant materials and recognition at the tournament. I designed the approved medal artwork, adapting the same football led identity into a distinctive award.

Preparation included customer team coordination, tournament information, event clothing, lanyards and prize planning. The programme also made room for people who were not playing, with food, entertainment and family activities forming part of the intended experience.

The non player T shirt design also carried a donation QR code, giving the charitable purpose a practical place within the event communication.

Front and back artwork pairs Jehu branding with the tournament identity. The second page preserves the donation graphic as part of the original design; it is historical artwork, not a current donation request.

An aerial view establishes the football grounds before the film moves through matches, team activities, family entertainment and the closing presentation. It ends with the event identity and supporting organisations.

Deliver a shared experience.

Kick for a Kid took place on 7 September 2024. The completed event was recorded in the year's marketing review alongside its campaign and event collateral.

The customer journey connected a clear invitation, a practical participation process and a recognisable visual identity with a day that brought hospital teams together.
