I designed a six number packaging system and carried it through carton revisions, wrapper artwork and production information.

Design value
Prominent numbers and matching illustrations distinguish the variants across each packaging layer.
01
Packaging & variants.
A compact carton system puts the blade number, material and product reference at the centre of the design. The amended artwork connects the No.11 carton to individual wrappers and outer carton labels.

02
Decisions, shown in the artwork.
Six blade shapes need a common identity, but each number must remain identifiable on a compact carton and on its individual wrapper. The layout also has to survive the change from a flat sheet to a folded pack.

The large 11 and matching blade illustration provide two ways to identify the variant. A second, unobstructed 11 in the lower strip preserves a plain numerical reference beneath the overlapping image.
Separate product, material and detail
The bold product name establishes the category; the grey material line sits beneath it. Supporting copy has a smaller scale, so the principal identity does not depend on reading the paragraph.
Give repeated information a fixed address
The navy strip groups blade number, quantity, symbols and reference into separate cells. Keeping those positions consistent provides a repeatable layout for the six numbered variants.
A real revision: the same identity, a changed panel arrangement.
The earlier archive file and the September amendment preserve the visual identity. The second broad face is rotated in the amended net, and the instruction and traceability panels exchange positions. This is visible revision evidence; the files do not establish who requested each change.

From design to manufacturer handoff.
The design work extends into a dimensioned carton, numbered wrapper layouts and outer carton labels. These files make panel orientation and variable information concrete topics for manufacturer review.
Physical constraint
The No.11 carton is specified at 91 × 68 × 30 mm. The thumb notch, closure and adjoining panels define the available composition.
Across packaging layers
Numbers 10, 11, 15, 20, 22 and 23 recur across the range artwork. The wrapper uses a compact version of the same identification system.
Manufacturing information
Lot and date fields are reserved for variable production data. Their blank state in the artwork is intentional, rather than missing design content.
A useful next refinement would be to test the number at actual carton size with less illustration overlap. The repeated number in the lower strip helps, but a cleaner primary number could strengthen rapid recognition. This is a proposed review, not a completed user test.
03
Product illustrations that reinforce the number.
The six prepared blade illustrations make the differences in shape visible. Pairing each illustration with its number connects the product image to the identification system on the packaging.
